The **Casström No. 10 Swedish Forest Knife** is an amazing outdoor knife made in Sweden. When you hold this knife for the first time you will immediately notice the amazing ergonomics. This knife feels absolutely amazing in hand! The somewhat strange looking ‘dent’ in the handle contributes to the grip. Casström has designed this knife as an all-round outdoor knife. Hunting, fishing, bushcraft, food prep: this knife can do it all!


The blade is made from Swedish Sandvik 14C28N steel. Stainless, easy to sharpen and it will retain its sharpness for quite a long time. This edition has been enhanced with a scandi grind. As such the blade is a little thicker and the edge a little more suited for woodwork.


The handle is made from exquisite Curly Birch. Casström stabilized this wood to make it as sustainable as possible. A black liner has been placed in between the wood and the handle.


The Casström No. 10 Swedish Forest Knife comes with a decent leather sheath with a belt loop for belts up to (approximately) 6 cm.

Comme d’habitude avec Casström, on se trouve devant un couteau superbe et qualitatif. La finition est excellente, la prise en main très bonne et la taille idéale pour moi. Le magnifique étui en cuir achève la bonne impression que donne ce couteau. Je ne l’ai pas encore essayé sur le terrain, mais je n’ai aucun doute quant à ses capacités. Je recommande. 

Het mes kwam niet scherp uit de doos. Meer zelfs, er zat zelf een kapje in de snede. Na 45' slijpen etc. heb ik dit wel opgelost gekregen en is het mes scheermesscherp geworden. Het heft is wel heel mooi en het mes ligt ook heel goed in de hand. De schede is naar mijn mening iets te klein waardoor het heft van het mes er nogal hoog uitsteekt. Maar dat is geen breekpunt.

Das Messer liegt bei mir, Handschuhgröße 10, wunderbar in der Hand.
Klingengeometrie und Ergonomie sind für mich hervorragend.
Ich kann das Messer sehr empfehlen.
