Fürs feine im Bushcraften einfach perfekt. Und wer an der Qualität von
Fällkniven zweifelt, der kauft sich am besten ein Gummimesser im Spielzeugversand.

Das F13G ist die teuerste Variante der Standard F1 Messer.
Für mich war der günstige Preis bei Knivesandtools, mit Grund es zu bestellen. Das F13G ist wie die VG-10 oder die F1dz Variante ein sehr gutes Schneidwerkzeug, dass man ungesehen kaufen kann. Einzig allein die Griffbreite könnte Freunden mit sehr großen Händen zu klein bzw. zu schmal sein.
Ich schnitze sehr viel Kiefernholz mit dem F13G und bin begeistert davon,
dass das Messer einfach nicht an Schärfe verliert.
Nach 2 Wochen benutzung kann ich noch nicht mal einen Kratzer auf der Klinge feststellen.
Selbst ein Abziehen auf dem Lederriemen war noch nicht nötig. Sachen wie grobes Durchhacken oder Spalten von Holz
mittels auf die Klinge draufhauen, tue ich meinem F13G allerdings nicht an.





Na 20 jaar trouwe dienst is mijn F1VG-10 op rust gegaan. Welk model hem zou vervangen was na het uittesten van gelijkaardige modellen snel duidelijk ; het wordt weer een F1. Alleen twijfelde ik of het de VG-10 of de 3G versie zou worden. Is die 3G versie de meerkost wel waard ? Ik moet zeggen dat na het extreem gebruik (lees : het door snijden van elektriciteits kabel, prikkeldraad, ...) het mes nog steeds scheerscherp is.    Een betere vervanger kon ik me niet wensen. Het bij slijpen is even moeilijk of gemakkelijk als de VG-10. Beiden zijn harde tantes maar de F1 3G steekt er toch met kop en schouders uit. Commercieel is het een slecht produkt,eens je er een hebt duurt het heel lang tot je het vervangt ;-)

Legendäres Allround-Messer: Wer es einmal hatte, will es nie mehr missen! Wurde Superscharf ausgeliefert. Meiner Meinung nach eines der besten Outdoor-Gebrauchsmesser überhaupt.

Ich habe bereits seit einiger Zeit das F1 mit VG10 Laminatstahl und wollte noch die High End Version. Ob der 3G Stahl eine wirkliche, spürbare Verbesserung darstellt, kann sich wahrscheinlich nur im intensiven Gebrauch erweisen, stellt aber aber für eine Erweiterung der Sammlung dar. Die oft geäußerte Kritik an der Kunstoffscheide kann ich nicht verstehen. Sie stellt eine praxisgerechte Alternative zur Lederscheide dar und über Form kann ohnehin immer gestritten werden.
