The **Fällkniven GP** is a classically designed pocket knife. It even has a retro vibe. But made from extremely modern materials such as the newly laminated cobalt steel. Professional hunters have called this knife the ultimate hunting pocket knife. A big advantage is that thanks to the open design and the liner lock, the knife is easy to clean.


Besides a functional hunting knife this is a real gentleman's knife. The name GP stands for 'Gentleman's Pocket knife'. The blade opens easily and everything feels very solid. With this knife, Fällkniven shows once again why this brand has such a good reputation.


For this version Fällkniven used a handle made from Jigged Bone. That is cow bone that was painted and enhanced with a colour. A traditional material that has been used in the American knife industry for years. A natural material, of course, so every pocket knife is unique.



The blade is made from laminated cobalt steel with a hardness of HRC 60. The newly laminated cobalt steel (for the enthusiasts the composition: C 1.1%. Cr. 16%. W 0.3%. Mo 1.5%. V 0.3%. Co 2.5%.) is very hard, and won't chip easily. And an additional advantage is that you can sharpen it sharper than for instance VG10 or 3G steel.

Perfekt verarbeitet, edle Materialien, das Messer ist in der Klingenrotation völlig ohne Spiel, die Klinge ist absolut mittig im Griffkäfig wenn das Messer eingeklappt wird. Es gibt absolut keine Mängel an Quallität und Verarbeitung bei diesem Messer. Das Messer ist haptisch einfach top.
Verglichen mit ähnlichen Messern, die in Handarbeit gefertigt werden, erscheint der Preis von diesem Messer geradezu als Schnäppchen.
Echt tolles Messer, das ich sofort wieder kaufen würde.

Je weet maar nooit dat het touw je vastgrijpt.
