This **Hultafors felling axe** is great when felling trees or for other chopping tasks in the garden or the woods. This axe comes without sheath.

Bonne hache, rapport qualité / prix correct, mais je m'attendais à mieux. Même bien aiguisée, la pénétration dans le bois n'est pas folle.
Débiter des bûches ou abattre un arbre de taille moyenne vous demanderont tout de même de bons efforts.

Un hacha fantástico llegó al 5 día de pedirlo como dice en la web. Filo excelente corta muy bien al menos lo que lo e probado en encina el mango parece ser muy resistente y tiene una orientación de las betas muy buena. Lo recomiendo si le vais a dar un uso considerable ya que su precio lo vale.

Ik heb deze bijl gebruikt voor een aantal bomen te villen, en ik vind dat hij zeer goed werkt alleen jammer dat de bijl niet te scherp is en zonder leder hoes toekomt maar voor de rest is het een goeie lengte en gewicht + het is goedkoop , zeker een aanrader voor mensen die al een slijpsteen hebben.

Ten einde een reeks bosbijlen intensief te testen bestelde ik ook deze HY10 (1000gr) van Hultafors. De bijl komt netjes afgewerkt toe op het eerste zicht. Een lederen foedraal ontbreekt jammer genoeg, en dat mocht voor mij de prijs iets hoger leggen. 
Echter, bij nadere inspectie is ze niet slagklaar. De vouw loopt te snel over in de wang en de snede werd bij Hults Bruk / Hultafors onder een te stompe hoek aangezet (>25°). Dit bijwerken vergt wat kunde en inzicht. De bijlsteel ziet er fraai uit, maar mag dunner qua gebruiksgemak algemeen. Wat mij betreft mag Hultafors de prijs opkrikken om zo een fijnere afwerking van steel en snede te garanderen.
Eens de vouw en snede goed zitten, is de HY10 een kwalitatieve bijl voor de prijs. Vellingen van bomen tot DBH 40cm vormen geen probleem en de snede houdt goed, zelfs onder 20°. Benieuwd wat de toekomst verder zal brengen!
