This **Jende Leather Bench Strop-block** is a fine leather strop, exactly the size of many sharpening stones. You can therefore easily secure it in the same whetstone holder you would also use for your (Japanese) sharpening stones. This strop has a surface made from kangaroo leather. This is the strongest type of leather in the world. The advantage is that it also has a great structure. As such the sharpening results are very even.

 The top-layer of fine leather is attached to a solid block of acrylic. Insensitive to water and differences in temperature, which is why the leather surface always stays nice and flat.

 Please note: comes without compound, emulsion or diamond spray.

werkt goed, ligt naast mijn messenblok om even bij de werken voor ik ga snijden. 

Very good overall. Does not have much “give” due to the thin nature of kangaroo leather hence lacks feedback. However thats a positive in case you use it to hone woodworking tools for instance
