The Nextool KT5509 Taotool is the perfect box opener. And that is also recognised. The TaoTool namely won the ISPO award for best product of 2016/2017.


The blade of this box opener is made from Sandvik steel and enhanced with a Teflon coating. Not only does the blade retain its sharpness well. The coating also ensures that less will stick to your blade. A familiar problem when opening boxes is that it appears to be more difficult due to glue residue left behind on the edge of the blade. This box opener is not bothered by this. 


The hook was specifically designed to cut cardboard boxes. Because the cutting edge is located so deep in the hook you don't run the risk of getting into contact with the sharp edge yourself. The blade also won't accidentally close. The Taotool is enhanced with a lockback that locks the blade When you fold the Taotool it is shaped like a key. Compact and easy to carry with you on a key ring.

C'est l'outil pratique par excellence, avec mes clés de bureau, il me permet d'ouvrir les paquets qui arrivent de chez Knives et Tools ;-))

Degelijke constructie al zou je dat ondanks de lage prijs niet verwachten.
Mocht wel wat scherper, maar doet wat het moet doen. Dozen openen!

Onverwacht goed product.
Ik kocht het omdat het een apart zakmes / tool is, meer als een rariteit zogezegd.
Maar het zal je verbazen hoe vaak je dit zal gebruiken.
Het kleine haakje aan het einde is heel praktisch, er is een verlenging gemaakt midden in het lemmet wat ook geslepen is.
Het voordeel zit echter in het uiteinde, haakje.
Je merkt in dagelijks leven dat het handig is brieven netjes openen, verpakingen, labels van kleding halen etc.
Kwaliteit is gewoon goed, enig puntje.
Tijdens inklappen kan lemet wat heen en weer gaan, dichtdoen met beleid anders komt het tegen het heft aan, wat overigens geen schade geeft.
Dit nieuw ontwerp leert ons anders naar mes te kijken, mischien krijgen we in de toekomst meer anders vormgegeven lemetten.
Zeg maar de Tesla onder de zakmesjes.


Handige tool voor als je veel dozen moet open maken, werkt veel beter dan een stanleymes en is een stuk veiliger in gebruik, voorzichtigheid is nog wel steeds geboden bij gebruik want het is geen garantie dat er niks wordt beschadigd van wat in de verpakkingen zit. Desondanks is het hier een gelieft stukje gereedschap geworden.
