Reviews for Package deal Naniwa Specialty whetstones, grit 220 / 800 / 3000

As a professional chef I was looking for splash and go stones that would keep my knives sharp without spending a fortune. These stones have a very nice tactile feel, cut well & produce a nice finish. Highly recommended. It should be noted that Naniwa under rate their stones and from use I would agree. The 800 grit stone acts like a 1-2000 grit & the 3000 acts like a 4-5000 grit which is fine. Excellent value plus free delivery makes this a must have purchase. The only slight negative is that the stones aren't very thick so you don't have much clearance if you use a stone holder but they are hard wearing so it's not a big issue.
