The **SOG Jungle Primitive F03TN-CP** is a large fixed knife that is halfway between a very large knife and a small machete. As you would expect, this knife is very strong, making it suitable not just for cutting, but also for chopping, prying, sawing and hammering. The Kraton handle provides a lot of grip. The razor-sharp stainless 8Cr13MoV steel is very easy to sharpen. There is a dark coating on the blade, giving it a tactical look. The top of the blade is partially serrated. Ideal for sawing. There is a piece of steel on the butt of the handle, which is handy for hammering. The supplied nylon sheath offers you a comfortable way to carry the knife. Un couteau/machette (chinois, j'appréhendais mais je ne suis pas déçu!), a un prix très abordable. Une lame tranchante, très résistante, qu’on n’a pas besoin d’affûter souvent. Petit bémol, l’émouture creuse. Ça pénètre le bois en profondeur, mais ça se coince un peu dans la bûche, contrairement à une émouture convexe qui, elle, va écarter les fibres du bois et le fendre plus facilement. Sans ça, on peut bourriner c’est increvable. Pour le prix foncez!!

Goed en scherp geslepen mes. Voelt ook licht aan bij het dragen, valt mooi over het been en wordt niet als storend ervaren tijdens het wandelen. Makkelijk vlot uit te halen en ligt goed in de hand. Ideaal wanneer je iets groter dan bv een sog Bowie zoekt, en toch niet met de omvang van een hele grote machete. Qua prijs eigenlijk no-brainer. Aanrader!
