How to: tie a paracord lanyard

With a thousand different applications, a paracord always comes in handy. Tie your own lanyard (as a wrist strap) and you always have a piece of emergency cordage. We will teach you the “Cobra Weave” that allows you to create a compact and sturdy lanyard knot.

1. Start with two pieces of paracord with at least 30 cm of length.
2. Turn one side of piece 1 around piece 2.
3. Complete the knot by putting piece 1 through its own loop.

You will have the basic knot of the “Cobra Weave” mastered very quickly. Now the possibilities are endless, the only limit is your own creativity. And the length of the paracord. Happy knotting
