By finishing your knife on the Belgian stone, you can polish the edge to be a sharp as a razor. This natural stone with a really fine polishing grit has to be used with water.

With the **Ardennes Coticule Belgian Blue whetstone** you can quickly sharpen your knife. It has a grit of approx. 4000 with 20 to 30% garnets. They are real natural products making each stone unique. With a Belgian blue whetstone you can sharpen any knife razor-sharp.


Despite the fact that some stones can contain slight irregularities or deviations in colour, all stones are completely functional and enhanced with at least one usable sharpening side. This is a natural product which means that the natural source they come from will, in time, run out of stones. As such you need to use the stone economically.

C'est un super produit . Une finition irréprochable.  Je recommande cette pierre.

Ich gebrauche den Stein in Kombination mit einem WMF Wetzstein (Körnung 260/1000). Der Schleifstein schleift zuverlässig und poliert auf einem so hohen Niveau, das ein Abziehleder für den Finisch aus meiner Sicht nicht mehr zwingend notwendig ist. Beide Seiten sind plan und gebrauchsfertig. Würde ich das Produkt noch mal kaufen, wählte ich einen breiteren Stein (50-60 mm). Die Länge ist ausreichend.

J'utilise depuis des années la Pierres des Pyrénées, je pensais retrouver le même pouvoir d’affûtage sur ce modèle, mais il s'avère qu'il est plus utile pour le polissage. Je ne suis pas spécialement déçu mais j'avais une autre attente de ce produit.
