The **Bark River Adventurer** is a stunning knife with an ergonomic grip. When you only look at the size you might think that this knife is too small to hold properly. Appearances, however, can be deceiving! Because of the finger groove at the front of the handle this small knife feels amazing in hand. The Adventurer was designed to always carry with you. For that reason the side of the blade has been enhanced with a groove. This saves even more weight.

 The blade is made from Böhler Elmax steel. An incredibly stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well. The ultimate combination of the wear resistance of carbon with the corrosion resistance of stainless steel. The edge has been enhanced with a convex grind which you can maintain by [stropping it](%3C!--#CATURL:stroppingproduct--%3E).

 The handle is made from Desert Ironwood. A type of hardwood mainly found in the United States and Mexico. Characterizing is the beautiful colour and the rich pattern. This stunning type of wood makes the knife look extra luxurious.

 The Bark River Adventurer comes with a leather sheath with belt loop.

 Bark River makes all of its knives almost completely by hand. As such each knife is unique. Especially when you are working with natural materials a knife can differ from the photographs. The knife you receive can therefore be subtly different from the product photos. The model and type of material, however, will always be the same.
