The **Bark River Adventurer II** is a stunning neck knife with an ergonomic grip. The Adventurer II is the larger version of the Adventurer. You can use it for hunting or EDC purposes, and even in the kitchen. Versatile and of amazing quality.

 The blade is made from Böhler Elmax steel. An incredibly stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well. The ultimate combination of the wear resistance of carbon with the corrosion resistance of stainless steel. The edge has been enhanced with a convex grind which you can [maintain by stropping it](/en/ct/stropping.htm).

 The handle is made from canvas micarta. A strong and light-weight material, made from linen and synthetic resin. Feels comfortable in hand, even in wet or cold circumstances.

 The Bark River Adventurer comes with a leather sheath with belt loop.

 Bark River makes all of its knives almost completely by hand. As such each knife is unique. Especially when you are working with natural materials a knife can differ from the photographs. The knife you receive can therefore be subtly different from the product photos. The model and type of material, however, will always be the same.
