This as a field strop is ok, but it has an issue! Like with all leather products in time it will become very soft and will bend, you will then need something hard for it to rest on! But at this moment its ok, its stiff enough to hold in your hand. I feel it would have been better if the two bits of full grained leather hand been stuck to a small wooden paddle. it dose a good job for what it is. I have a 1000 grit polishing compound on one side and bare leather on the other. Bark river field strop.

This is a quality strop that is perfect for trips and adventures away from home. The photo doesn't give the actual strop and solid crafted leather justice. Absolutely top service from knives and tools. Would highly recommend.
