Fine knives, came sharp enough to work with, but became even better with a few minutes stropping. The larger knife is a bit of a tight fit in it's holder & maybe a bit dangerous to loosen if you're not staying present, but dampening & stretching the leather solved that fairly easily. Great starter kit that I'm thinking will do me well into this hobby
