The **Böker Leopard-Damascus III Gold 42 110229DAM** is a very special pocket knife. The blade is made from stainless damascus steel. We have more of those, you might say. You are right. The unique aspect, however, is that this damascus steel was forged from the barrel of a German Leopard tank. Steel which was even gilded afterwards. You don't see that very often.



The Leopard was introduced in 1965 and was produced in Western Germany by Porsche. A tank that was built on firepower with an impressive 105 mm cannon. Parts of the barrel were turned into a 300 layer damascus steel by blacksmith Andreas Henrichs. The pattern is a 'Great Diamonds' design, with diamond-shaped layers. The handle is enhanced with a damascus steel inlay. The rest of the handle is made from aluminium.



You open the Böker Leopard Damascus III with two hands. This is namely the '42'-edition. Made to adhere to the German laws and regulations, article 42 in particular. This article states that any knife that contains a lock can only be opened with two hands. When opened a steel liner lock locks the blade.



Only a limited amount of the Böker Leopard Damascus III Gold 42 110229DAM were produced, and it is shipped in a stunning display case.

Zeer vereerd om dit stuk staal in mijn bezit te hebben. Zeer mooi, vooral het pyramide damast vorm waarvan het lemmet is gemaakt, en dan ook nog is een laag echt goud erover heen, echt prachtig. Zeker mijn geld waard. 


Pracht mes , de details zijn bizar mooi
300 lagen Damascus gemaakt van de loop van een leopard tank , ben zelf lader en schutter geweest op de 2a5 en de 2a6 dus als burger heb ik toch mn tank dicht bij me 😁.
Zit in een mooi display zeker het geld waard.
