The **Böker Manufaktur Wiener Schaber 140303** is a top-quality straight razor. Böker has been producing straight razors for over a hundred years and has an excellent reputation in this field. This *straight razor* is made in the Böker workshop in Solingen, Germany. . Originally this type of razor was used to trim edges and for other detailed tasks.


You can, of course, also use it for a full shave. The French tip and relatively short blade length makes it perfect when following curves and edges. The handle is made from black plastic.


This straight razor has an *extra hollow* grind with a *ridge*. The extra hollow grind gives you an extremely thin edge which is also a little flexible. This razor is amazing to work with but perhaps not as suited for heavy beard growth. The *ridge* ensures that the spine of the blade is thick enough to be blocked by the handle. In addition, the spine provides support when determining the right sharpening angle while stropping and sharpening.
