The **Böker Plus Beta** is a slim fixed knife, designed as an EDC knife for daily use. Despite the fact that the Böker Plus Beta is very slim you can comfortably hold the knife in hand. This is mostly due to the large finger groove and the well thought out design of the handle. In addition, with a weight of only 62 grams the Beta also weighs next to nothing.

 The whole is enhanced with a rough stonewashed finish, cut-outs to save weight and ridges for additional grip. You can also wrap a piece of paracord around these cut-outs to make the handle feel even more comfortable. A great detail are the diagonal milled lines at the start of the blade. Here you can place an index finger or thumb to make sure you have a lot of control and grip over the knife as you use it.

 The Böker Plus Beta comes with a solid kydex sheath to make sure you can carry it on your belt. You can remove the belt clip in order to carry the knife as a neck knife with a piece of paracord. In short, enough to choose from.

Heel vlak/plat mes. De vorm van het handvat is niet heel ergonomisch. Het past niet heel ‘lekker’ in de hand, maar daar wen je na verloop van tijd aan, merk ik. Ik heb grote handen en door de buikige vorm van het handvat heb ik toch voldoende plek om het mes goed vast te houden. Na wat stroppen is het mes voldoende scherp. De schede zelf vind ik prettig en houdt het mes goed vast, maar de riemclip is typisch Böker: te groot en voelt niet echt solide aan. Met wat custom aanpassingen (kleine tie-wraps door de clip) is deze voor mij nu solide genoeg. Wel op meerdere manieren te bevestigen. Horizontaal dragen heeft mijn voorkeur. Zeker bij de aanbiedingsprijs van €35,- heb je best veel waar voor je geld. Voor mij een prettig plat edc mes. Niet te groot en niet te klein en horizontaal draagbaar.
