Böker Plus Kwaiken, pocket knife, Micarta handle, blade length 9 cm

Great practical knife. I've used mine for removing glass stone etc from my bike wheels, box cutting, carpet cutting etc. Sharpens up easy. The switch layout is not the best but I use two fingers to open it. And i've filed down the the micarta by the switch. It's definitely a keeper.

So, the Boker Kwaiken. Firstly the service from Knives and Tools was excellent, its the first time I've used them and i will again. The knife(s) came well packaged, the Kwaiken in its own very smart presentation type box, way above average. The Kwaiken is a very well built knife, sturdy, no flex or movement between blade and frame. Very smooth and easy to to flip open with the thumb stud. The micarta looks great and mine was finished off perfectly, this includes the metal work, the finish on the blade is awesome and everything was perfectly spaced and evenly tooled to a high standard. The blade came 'shave arm easily' sharp out of the box. The only negative i can mention was the pocket clip.. after a short time it came loose, i remedied it easily by glueing and re-tightening the two screws.. No problem since. A serious, solid and high quality knife.
