The **Böker Plus Takara** is a remarkable and fancy gentleman's knife. It was designed by Japanese designer Kansei Matsuno. His designs are incredibly popular because of their elegance. They are all remarkable. The Takara is no exception. The name Takara means 'treasure'. A nice and sympathetic name for a cool pocket knife.



You can easily open the Böker Plus Takara with the flipper or the front flipper. Both ways are easy because of the ball bearings around the pivot. When opened a liner lock will lock the blade. This lock is completely concealed behind the flipper, which also falls into the frame. As such the design is also really clean when opened.



The blade is made from D2. A simple type of steel that retains its sharpness well. Do, however, be careful around acids, moisture and salt: D2 is not completely stainless. Fortunately this shouldn't be a problem if you maintain the knife properly and use a little common sense as you use it. The jimping on the spine of the blade looks great. These subtle grip serrations offer enough grip. This combination of broad and narrow grooves looks amazing. The 3D pocket clip deserves to be mentioned. We think it is one of the most beautiful clips at the moment. A leather cord at the end of the handle finishes the Böker Takara.
