The **Böker Plus Takara** is a remarkable, elegant gentleman's knife. It was designed by Japanese designer Kansei Matsuno. His designs are incredibly popular because of their elegance. They all have something special about them. The Takara is no exception. The name Takara means 'treasure'. A fitting name for an attractive pocket knife.



You can open the Böker Plus Takara with the regular flipper or the front flipper. Both ways are smooth and easy because of the ball bearings around the pivot. When opened a liner lock will lock the blade. This lock is completely concealed behind the flipper, which also falls neatly into the frame. This means the design also looks really clean when opened.



The blade is made from D2, a simple steel with good sharpness retention. Do, however, be careful around acids, moisture and salts: like other tool steels, D2 is not completely stainless. Fortunately this won't be a problem if you maintain the knife properly and exercise a little common sense as you use it. The jimping on the spine of the blade looks great. These subtle grip serrations offer plenty of grip. This combination of broad and narrow grooves looks stunning. The 3D pocket clip also deserves a mention. We think it's one of the most beautiful clips out there at the moment. A leather cord at the end of the handle finishes the Böker Takara.
