The **Böker Plus Wildcat XL** is a large tactical pocket knife, designed by Boris Manasherov. This model is very similar to a karambit, the famous Filipino fighting knife. This interpretation differs per blade. The blade of the Wildcat is partly curved, but towards the tip there is a slight *belly* (convex edge) with which you can carry out normal cutting tasks.



The blade is made from D2 steel. A type of tool steel that is similar to stainless steel but can stain during long-term exposure to acids. The spine of the blade is nice and thin. A set of ball bearings ensures that the blade moves smoothly. Opening this blade is easy with the flipper or the thumb hole.




You can safely carry the Caracal in your pocket with the deep-carry pocket clip. It is cleverly attached to make sure you place it for left and right-handed use. Are you looking for a tactical pocket knife that stands its ground even in normal use? If so the Böker Wildcat XL is a great choice!

Bonne facture, bien équilibré et massif. Il envoie du bois ;)
Petit point négatif : la lame ne rouille pas et c'est aussi pour cela que je l'ai commandé; en revanche la bille lock positionnée dans la lame, elle si. Je verrai à l'usage si ça devient gênant pour l'ouverture.

Fantastisch veelzijdig werkmes, voelt stevig aan en opent en sluit soepel.
Het formaat is ook zeker prettig voor mensen met wat grotere handen vergeleken andere, kleinere karambits.
