Impressive. Came covered in grease in scabbard. Not used but just sharpened. Blade and scabbard need to be kept clean to avoid fine scratches. Cleaned with WD40 and wiped dry. O1 blade can rust but no problems yet.

These new Kukri's are replacements for my old Cold Steel Gurkah Kukri Plus. These are pretty much the best you can get with a couple of exceptions. Full tang, very strong with an exceptionally good edge, comfortable in the hand, relatively light for a big knife and very pleasing to the eye. Highly recommended.

I've got a Benchmade folding knife that's perfect for doing things around the farm, but this Cold Steel Kukri is my first foray into fixed knives. When it first arrived I left it in its box for a while telling myself it was too expensive and I should return it, but then I bit the bullet and started using it. I wanted a large knife for chopping and processing hazel , ash and willow into long lengths for hurdle making, and the Kukri is perfect for that - great chopper, great de-branch/twigger. It's a large, impressive, very well made knife, with an excellent sheath that does everything I ask of it with ease. Fit and balance in the hand is great - very comfortable. Money well spent, love it.

The blade was spotless and the knife its self was very well put together the handle was comfortable Mick Dundee would want one. You could easily take down a tree with this piece of kit. verry happy.the sheaf was well made and a solid fit. Cleans up well with a bit of oil. No problem with delivery.5*
