The **CRKT Septimo/Arcane** is a great pocket knife, designed by Jeremy Valdez. He originally called this knife the Arcane, but changed into Septimo which means ‘seventh’ in Spanish and refers to Valdez’ time at the 7th Special Forces.


The Septimo has a 9.4 cm blade, with a remarkable edge. Well: three-quarters is pretty standard. Only when you reach the handle you will notice the large cutting hook. That is a large Veff-serration. Cutting serrations that will enable you to effortlessly cut through rope, cardboard and other tough materials. But there is more, Valdez had chosen a tanto-tip. Optimized for its piercing powers. As a result the Septimo is incredibly versatile. Just like the special forces.


Jeremy Valdez designed the CRKT Septimo after being involved in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan. The knife he owned at the time wasn’t good enough to free his wounded comrades from the wreckage. Valdez used this experience to design the Septimo. The knife he wished he had with him at the time. Versatile, quickly deployable and light-weight.
