The **Demko Knives Armiger 4** is a rock-solid fixed knife, designed for survival situations and tactical purposes. The Armiger 4 is available in different blade shapes, so you can choose the knife that will suit you best. The innovative, patent-pending sheath offers many options to carry your knife.

## Armiger 4 blade
The blade is made from 80CrV2 carbon steel. This is a tough type of steel, meaning it's resistant to breaking and tearing, even after repeated impact or strain. Moreover, it has a good wear resistance and retains its sharpness even after intensive use. 80CrV2 is not stainless, which Demko Knives solves with a powdered coating. This coating prevents light reflections and protects the blade from corrosion.

The clip-point blade shape has a pointy tip and a high grind, making it suitable for a large range of cutting tasks. From everyday use like opening packages to tactical use or hunting activities.

## Armiger 4 handle
The sleek handle is made of TPR: a thermoplastic rubber. TPR offers a perfect grip, even in wet circumstances. This material absorbs shocks well and has a soft and flexible feel to it, making it comfortable to use even for long periods of time. It's also resistant to moisture, chemicals and extreme temperatures.

The handle is full-tang, meaning the steel extends all the way to the end of the handle. At the end of the handle the tang sticks out a bit, so you can use it as a hammer or glass breaker.

## Armiger 4 sheath
The Armiger 4 comes with an innovative, scratch-resistant, MOLLE compatible sheath (patent-pending). The unique construction of the sheath contains a non-glass Kydex core, a softer type of Kydex. This prevents the sheath from dulling your knife when using the sheath a lot. The outer edges of the sheath are made from glass-fibre reinforced Kydex to ensure the sheath remains strong. These are detachable for maintenance and cleaning the sheath, something you rarely see. The sheath also has a little hole for drainage, if necessary.

The Armiger series consists of fixed knives made in Taiwan. This allows Demko to keep the pricing low, without having to compromise on production quality.

Andrew Demko is the founder and owner of Demko Knives. He found his calling in 1988 when he started out blacksmithing chisels. His passion for the trade soon led to knife making. Loving this second knife I have from Demko. i have the freereign and now this little beast the Armiger. Carbon steel blade 80crv2 which is tough stuff and holds a good edge. The handle only just  fits my hand which is XL but it's comfy. Same style sheath as the freereign which I love and holds the knife secure. Overall it's a good knife for the money. Very pleased.
