The Fällkniven FH9 Black Hawk is nicely styled, compact pocket knife. The design is slender and therefore very comfortable to carry in your pocket. The handles are made of black Micarta with a fine structure.  
  

The blade is made of laminated cobalt steel with a hardness of 60HRC. The new laminate cobalt steel (for those interested, the composition is: C 1.1%. Cr. 16%. W 0.3%. Mo 1.5%. V 0.3%. Co 2.5%.) is very hard, but the resistance against chipping is very high. Another advantage is that this kind of steel can be sharpened even sharper than other kinds of steel, like VG10 of 3G.

Wat een geweldig mes, scherp, mooi afgewerkt en altijd bij me! Aangezien ze stoppen met de productie ervan gauw één besteld!

Ausgepackt und ich war erst mal beeindruckt von der optischen Qualität des Messers. Ich dachte mir schon, dass es gut sein muss, da ich schon das A1 Pro besitze und sehr zufrieden bin.

Das Messer an sich liegt gut in der Hand (Handschuhgröße 10) und fühlt sich gut und wertig an. Die Klinge ist nach dem aufklappen fest arretiert und sitzt fest im Griff. Es klappert nichts und man fühlt sich sicher bei der Arbeit. 

Ich verwende das Messer im Outdoor-Bereich für leichte Arbeiten wie zum Beispiel feine Schnitzarbeiten oder für die Zubereitung von Lebensmitteln über Gemüse bis hin zu Fleisch. Für grobe Arbeiten ist es mir zu schade.

Die Schärfe ist im Auslieferungszustand schon beeindruckend. 

Schön wäre noch eine kleine Lederscheide gewesen. Leider gibt es nicht mal eine als Zubehör.

Messer ist super aber gefühlt für die größe etwas teuer.

Trotzdem eine klare Empfehlung für Messerliebhaber die auf Optik und Qualität wert legen!

Zoals een zakmes moet zijn. Fraaie afwerking in alle opzichten. Naadloze aansluitingen wat zeer prettig in de hand ligt. Vlijmscherp en niet bot te krijgen en dat voor een roestvrijstaal blad is heel knap. Dit mes heb ik altijd bij me en daarmee of daardoor het fijnste mes van mijn collectie.
