These **Flytanium Benchmade Mini Bugout Crossfade Scales** are great after-market accessories for the Benchmade Mini Bugout. They are well-fitting scales made by the experts at Flytanium. The great thing about these scales is that Flytanium didn't simply stick to the outer edge of the old scales and leave it at that. No: there is also a bevelled finger groove for your index finger. And the holes that have a D-shaped hole in the original pocket knife against the rotation of the screws are also neatly D-shaped for these scales. Not all after-market scales have this!

The scales are made from brass. They feel solid in hand, and give the knife a classic look. Please note: brass forms a patina over time, making each knife truly unique!

## Tips for installation

Adding new scales or other accessories is not without its risks! To prevent damage to screws and scales, always use suitable screwdrivers and never force anything. We like to add a little piece of plastic bag in between the bit and the screw to help prevent any damage to the screws. If the screws are stuck, it is important not to force them. Carefully heat them with a hairdryer or tap the back of the screwdriver to break the loctite.

Before you start tinkering, always check the manufacturer's warranty conditions: for some brands, the warranty expires the moment you start working on the knife yourself. Installing scales is at your own risk. We are not liable for damages that you may cause to the knife or the accessory.
