The **Fox Karambit Titanium Framelock FX-599TiCS** is a very luxurious karambit knife. This knife is made from great materials and has an excellent finish. A karambit that is almost too beautiful to use, but is definitely made to be used.


Fox really indulged itself when it comes to the technical side of the frame. Part titanium, part carbon. The back of the lock side and the lockbar are made from titanium, the rest of the handle is made from carbon fibre. A special type of hybrid. Stunning.



The blade is made from Böhler N690Co steel. An Austrian type of steel known for retaining its sharpness well. N690Co is also corrosion resistant.



You can open the karambit in three different ways. With the thumb hole, the flipper or the wave opener. The wave opener is the fastest way to open this knife. Because the hook on the spine of the blade gets caught behind the edge of your pocket and the knife will open on its own. It doesn't get any faster than this. This feature was invented by Ernest Emerson.



 The karambit has its origins in south east Asia. Here it evolved from being an agricultural knife to a combat knife for one on one fights. You use a karambit by putting your index finger through the ring so that the blade is located at the bottom of your fist.
