The **Jack Wolf Gateway Barlow GW-BAR-01-CAN-MIC-GRN** is the first 'budget' or entry-level model from Jack Wolf Knives. But that does not mean it is 'lesser-than' previous models! ## Gateway Barlow steel

Instead of the well-known S90V normally used by Jack Wolf, Sandvik 14c28n was chosen for the Gateway Barlow. It's a nicely balanced blade steel from Sweden that has already proven itself on the market. It is stainless, pretty tough and easy to sharpen. In addition, it retains its sharpness well. What more could you possibly ask for?

## Green canvas micarta handle

Micarta is an incredibly strong material that feels great in hand and is also pleasantly light-weight. It is made from canvas and synthetic resin. At first glance the micarta might look a little pale, but after using it, the oils in your hands will make sure the micarta will become darker. It takes over the traces of use, making the knife uniquely yours!
