This small and discreet blade is meant for one thing, self defense. And it surely is effective in that regard. You can carry the sheath in your pocket or belt and place the knife in it, in any configuration, as the blade fits either ways and both sides. Drawing the knife is easy, but the plastic material which the sheath is made of is not as good as a retantion of a kydex, but is good enough. AUS8A is a good choice of steel, for its tough, stainless and easy to sharpen. Talking of sharpness, the blade came with a good factory edge out of the box, cutting hair I might say. The point of this small tactical blade is really what matters and it will stab and pierce most materials, fabric and leather no bother.
