The **KA-BAR IFB** is a versatile outdoor knife, for a great price. Use it for survival purposes, when you go camping, hunting or put in your bugout bag or toolbox. The KA-BAR IFB will feel at home anywhere.



Because it is so favourably priced, you also don't have to worry about using it to its full extent. The blade is made from 8Cr13MoV-steel. A stainless type of steel that looks a lot like AUS8a. Easy to sharpen. As such maintenance won't take up a lot of your time. The handle is made from 3D milled G10. A nice feature for a knife with this price.



The KA-BAR IFB comes with a solid plastic sheath. You can carry it in many different ways.

Das KA-BAR Trailing Point gefällt mir sehr gut, die G10 Griffe liegen schön in der Hand und fühlen sich sehr angenehm an (auch bei größeren Händen, habe selbst welche),der Stahl scheint auch nicht schlecht sein, vielleicht öfter schleifen dafür ist er rostfrei. Das Teil kam superscharf bei mir an, wie auch schon das bk2 zuvor. Einziges Problem war die scheide, das Messer nachdem ich es zum ersten Mal reinschob,war kaum rauszuholen, obwohl wir zuzweit waren, aber nach 10 Minuten war es dann wieder draußen ohne die scheide zu beschädigen. Ich schliff innen einiges weg, jetzt reicht der daumendruck. Bin trotzdem super zufrieden damit, danke knives and tools!

Comme l'avis rédigé plus bas, super couteau pour le prix, relativement bien éguiser pour un aiguisage d'origine.
A voir dans le temps si il vieillit bien.

Degelijk stukje werk. Goed afgewerkt, prima staal, niet topklasse maar daar is de prijs ook naar. Hele prettige handgreep die meteen vertrouwen geeft dat het wel goedkomt. Het mes is aan de maat. Zo'n beetje in de buurt van een goed vleesmes. Kan 't ook zeker uitstekend voor gebruikt worden. Ik heb er ook wat kleinhout mee gehakt in de tuin en dat ging prima. Voor het grovere hakwerk zou ik geneigd zijn een mes pakken met een scandi-snede of van 1095 staal maar de performance tot nu toe geeft daar nog geen aanleiding toe.  De schede houd het mes goed op zijn plaats. Sterker nog, je moet 2 handen gebruiken om het mes te kunnen trekken. Ik ga er vanuit dat dit bij veel gebruik minder wordt.

WOW! Je ne m'attendais pas à une telle qualité pour ce prix! 
Même si c'est du made in China, le couteau arrive affuté comme un sabre laser et les finitions de la lame et du manche sont proche de l'irréprochable. 

Les seuls inconvénients sont le manche en G10 qui est franchement glissant (sauf aux endroits chanfreinés) et l'étui qui en plus de désaffuter la lame, vous permettra de vous muscler les dorsaux lorsque vous essaierez de dégainer le couteau... mais je pense que ça se résoudra avec le temps. 

Excellente surprise au final pour ce Ka Bar Trail Point (drôle de nom vu que c'est un plutôt un straight back...). 
C'est un couteau qui plaira aux chasseurs et aux militaires.
