The **KA-BAR Kukri Machete 1249** is a cool knife for in the wilderness. A kukri is a robust machete that is often used by the Ghurka's in Nepal. Ideal for chopping tasks. This knife was inspired by this. This KA-BAR Combat Kukri has the same Kraton handle you have seen on other KA-BAR knives. It feels incredibly comfortable in hand. Even when it is freezing out. 

 The blade, with its royal belly, is made from 1095 carbon steel. Not stainless, but easy to sharpen. More important: it can handle quite a lot. It is exactly what you want when you are using a machete such as this. You use it to move yourself through dense vegetation, or to cut through small branches. To cut through thicker branches or trunks it is best to use an axe or saw.

 The KA-BAR Kukri machete 1249 comes with a nylon sheath with plastic insert to make sure you can always carry it with you.
