## About the Minamo collection.


Kai Shun and Tim Mälzer introduced an elegant collection of kitchen knives: the Minamo collection. The knives are an artistic combination of Japanese and European knives. A combination we haven't seen before. It is striking that the blade remains broad up to the end. This is done to make it easy to move fruit and vegetables after cutting them. The combination of black pakka wood and the damast pattern has turned these knives into unique works of art.

We measure the sharpening angle ourselves. This value is the angle per side.  So 20º means that the total angle of the edge is 40º. Please note that knives are almost always sharpened by hand, even in factories. This value is therefore only an indication of a single tool measured by us.
