Zo tevreden over mijn 1e camp10 dat ik er nog een 2e besteld heb. Ideaal voor wat hakwerk. Samen met een kleiner roestvrij mes (bvb Mora) vormt dit een geweldige combinatie aan een zeer voordelige prijs.

(Kap)mes voor het iets zwaardere werk. Van zodra je begint te hakken kom je met een gewoon groot mes al gauw de beperkingen van dat mes tegen. De Camp10 zit met zijn afmetingen beetje tussen de grote messen en de machettes.
Dit maakt hem ook nog redelijk compact om mee te nemen in of aan een rugzak. Dankzij de sabre grind en de negatieve hoek met kukri stijl (waardoor er wat meer massa vooraan komt te liggen) hakt en splijt deze best goed.
Heeft ook een redelijk comfortabele grip. Evt nog wat te verbeteren met bvb wat tennis/hockey tape. Het mes zit redelijk los in de schede maar dat maakt dat je het zeer makkelijk met 1 hand in en uit de schede kan nemen.
Als je het niet gebruikt zou ik nog wel een extra beveiliging voorzien want de drukknop kan altijd per ongeluk loskomen.
Voor de prijs trouwens een prima schede en mes. Aan de schede kan je evt nog makkelijk zelf een kleiner mes (bvb type Mora Companion) bevestigen voor het fijnere werk (oa voeding) of een tasje met bvb een vouwzaag.
Camp10 + vouwzaag + kleiner mes is mooi compleet systeem.

Dit kapmes gekocht voor het kappen van kleinere takken aan wilgenbomen. Hiervoor is het prima geschikt. Het is stevig en ligt goed in de hand. Wel is het mes aan de zware kant. Als je hier lang aan een stuk mee werkt, merk je dat wel. 

Verder is het mes niet van roestarm staal. Dus goed en op tijd schoonmaken.
