## How do you change the handle of a Messermeister Custom kitchen knife?

Changing the handle is very easy. But what do you need? Of course, you'll need scales that are the right size, and a Torx 9 screwdriver.

Put the knife on a soft, flat surface and cover the cutting edge with a piece of tape. This reduces the risk of mishaps or accidentally damaging the edge. Loosen the screws and put them in a small container to make sure you don't lose them. Remove the standard scales and put the new scales on the knife. Secure the screws, but not too tightly.
