The **Mora Basic 546** is an affordable all-round knife. No unnecessary frills or extra's: simply a good fixed knife. The plastic handle is ergonomically shaped and offers enough grip. This brightly coloured 2019 edition is a cheerful version of this popular classic.

 This version has a blade made from Sandvik 12C27 steel. Stainless and tough, retains its sharpness well and is easy to sharpen.

 The plastic sheath is nice and solid and properly secures the knife. A clearly noticeable click lets you know that the knife is in place. An opening at the base of the holster allows for the drainage of water when needed.

 The belt clip can be used to carry the sheath on your belt, but also to attach it to a similar sheath. As such you can stack multiple knives from this collection. Practical when you wish to carry a serrated knife and a regular knife at the same time. The easiest way to disconnect the sheaths is turning the top sheath a quarter turn to release the button that secures it.

Het goed-voor-alles mes dat je erbij pakt omdat je niet bang bent om het te gebruiken. En mócht je het voor elkaar krijgen dit mes onherstelbaar te beschadigen, koop je een nieuwe voor een schijntje! Maar met 12c27 staal gaat dat langer duren dan je denkt. Kloof er een paar blokken hout mee dmv batonning, maak een paar feathersticks, schraap je vuurstaal en er is niets aan de hand. Simpel, robuust, betrouwbaar. En een veilige schede waar het mes goed in blijft zitten.
Mocht je budget beperkt zijn en wil je toch wat betrouwbaars? Mora / Morakniv is je antwoord. Óók het basic (roestvast 546) model!

Mes was verbazingwekkend scherp, uiteraard niet heel super netjes afgewerkt maar dat kan  je voor die paar euro ook niet verwachten.
