## Opinel Effilé series

Opinel Effilé, formerly the Slim Line, is the new name for this graceful collection of pocket knives from Opinel. Opinel Effilé knives are available in different sizes and with various, luxurious wooden handles! The new logo of the Effilé series is stamped onto the metal bolster. 

## Opinel Effilé Virobloc

The knife has a Virobloc lock, also called a ring lock. With a Virobloc, the hinging of the blade is securely blocked by the ring. This type of locking system requires two hands, which means your fingers are less likely to come near the cutting edge.

## Opinel Effilé type of steel

The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 steel. This steel is exceptionally corrosion resistant thanks to the addition of chrome, and very durable thanks to the high carbon content. As a result, it's stainless and retains its sharp edge very well. The best of both worlds! In addition, the blade is polished for an extra shiny result. 

## Opinel Effilé ebony

The knife has a stylish handle made from ebony. This is a rare, dark type of wood from the forests of Africa. You often see ebony used in sculptures and musical instruments. The deep black colour offers a beautiful contrast to the high-gloss polished blade. In addition, the wood has a high density and hardness that makes the knife not only graceful, but also durable. ## Opinel Effilé maintenance
