The **Rick Hinderer Ranch Harpoon Spanto** is a large and robust outdoor knife, made by Rick Hinderer Knives. This specific Vintage Edition is a remarkable version of the famous Hinderer Ranch Bowie, but with a Harpoon Spanto blade. For this special version, Hinderer became inspired by his love for firearms. The wood that is used for the handle of weapons, combined with the classic tool steel for the blade. A Vintage edition of an incredibly modern pocket knife. A workers knife from the highest class. This is one of the knives that will bring a smile to your face even if you hold it for a minute. Because of its size, yes. But mostly because of its excellent quality and finish. This knife is amazing!

 The massive knife stands out. Hinderer is known for using spanto blades for his pocket knives. However, this fixed knife adds a little more dimension with this size. Combined with the walnut wood handle the knife looks robust and tough.

 The blade is made from O1 tool steel. Not stainless, but tough and easy to sharpen. With the right heat treatment it is a great type of steel to work with.

 Hinderer could have opted for a simple sheath made from thin leather or kydex. He didn't: to finish the Ranch Harpoon Spanto it is enhanced with a nicely made leather sheath. You can immediately tell that a lot of attention was paid to this sheath. The sheath for this special Vintage edition is extra nice because of the stunning stamp work.
