The **Robert Klaas 95mm** is a stunning gentleman’s knife. The blade has a vintage spearpoint shaped blade. Very typical for this type of knife is the one-sided swedge on the spine of the tip. Not sharpened, but wonderful as an additional design element. Furthermore, this thin part ensures that the tip is thinner as well and perfect for the detailed jobs.


The handle on this Robert Klaas knife is made from blackwood, also known as grenadille wood. A dark, heavy type of wood that closely resembles ebony. The ricasso (the flat part just below the edge) has been enhanced with the Hen & Rooster logo: the two famous chickens who unitedly look in the same direction. The bolsters are made from luxurious nickel silver.


This pocket knife has one spearpoint blade. It can be opened with two hands and is kept in place by a slipjoint. This combination of a two-handed opening and the missing lock enables you to carry this knife with you wherever you might go.


The blade is made from carbon steel, a type of steel comprised of a lot of carbon and little luxurious alloy elements. A real ‘ancient’ type of steel that was in the past often used for knives. It can easily be sharpened, which can be a real advantage when you use it often. Do look out for rust: carbon is not stainless. A couple drops of oil once in a while is therefore recommended.
