The **Robert Klaas Trapper** is a chic and slim pocket knife made in Solingen. It is made according to the traditional Trapper pattern, a classic hunting knife. Perfect for gutting smaller game, but also as a gentleman’s knife it is a winner.


The handle on this Robert Klaas knife is made from *bog oak*, oak wood that has been submerged in water for a long time or hidden underneath the ground. As a result it has a very dark colour, and is extra hard. The ricasso (the flat part just below the edge) has been enhanced with the Hen & Rooster logo: the two famous chickens who unitedly look in the same direction. The bolsters are made from luxurious nickel silver.


This pocket knife has one clip point blade. It can be opened with two hands and is kept in place by a slipjoint. This combination of a two-handed opening and the missing lock enables you to carry this knife with you wherever you might go.


The blade is made from 1.4034-steel, a type of steel that is, in terms of qualities, similar to the more famous 420 types of steel. Stainless, easy to sharpen and retains its sharpness well.
