The **Spyderco Pattadese C257GP** is a stunning gentleman's knife from the Spyderco Ethnic collection. This collection uses traditional knife designs and brings them to the 21st century with modern materials and techniques.


The new Spyderco Pattadese is a smaller version of the Spyderco Pattada. Spyderco made the knife 15% smaller than its predecessor. The blade is almost 2 cm shorter. Because of its size the Pattadese is more suited for daily tasks. The knife is based on the traditional *resolza* pocket knife from Sardinia There this knife is also called Pattada, after the Sardinian knife capital.



The blade is made from premium M390 steel. The shape of the blade stands out. The edge is curved and the spine of the blade moves straight to the tip. The grind is very thin. As such it is a real *slicer*: it is amazing to use. When opened the blade is locked by a linerlock. You can easily open the blade with the characterizing thumb hole.



The handle of the Pattadese is nicely rounded. As such it feels great in hand and the G10 stand out even more. The deep-carry pocket clip ensures that you can safely keep it close.
