The **TRC Knives Speed Demon Signature Edition** is a compact and cool EDC knife. You carry it with the neck strap around your neck, or you can hang it from your belt with the belt loop. Due to its slender construction and high-tech handle material, the Speed Demon is extremely light-weight, reminiscent of the way in which the racing world saves weight in the construction of the cars. The source of inspiration for the Speed Demon was therefore also Frank Lockhart. A racing genius who won numerous races in 1925 and 1926 and even obliterated a couple of world records. That no-nonsense winners mentality was included in the design and production of the Speed Demon.

 TRC has chosen Vanadis 4 Extra steel for this knife. During endurance tests this type of steel performs really well. Few types of steel retain their sharpness longer. In addition, it is very tough and can therefore handle its own. Vanadis 4 Extra is usually only used by a few custom knife makers, and even those are very hard to find. The fact that a brand such as TRC makes such a fantastic knife made with this type of steel is simply fantastic.

 What you should know is that Vanadis 4 Extra is not completely stainless. If it comes in contact with salt, acid and moisture it can stain and eventually rust. Fortunately TRC enhanced the blade from front to back with a matt-black DLC-coating. This saves you a lot of maintenance. The flat grind of the blade was applied by hand. Unprecedented for a production knife like this.

 The handle is made from special carbon fibre enhanced with brass. A unique material that looks slightly different on every knife. When you hold the Speed Demon in your hands, you will notice that the ergonomics have been very well thought out. There is no other way with such a slim handle. The bevelled edges and the subtle kink downwards make the knife feel amazing in hand.

 The TRC Demon comes with a sleek kydex sheath. The sheath is enhanced with a paracord neck strap and a flexible belt loop. As such you can determine yourself how you carry it with you. Please note: kydex almost always leaves minor scratches on the blade by sliding in and out. This is normal.

 Only 150 pieces of this knife were produced. While stocks last.
