TRC Knives This is Freedom Elmax Droppoint Convex Blue G10, outdoor knife, Limited Edition

This is my first TRC knife, and while I had heard that the fit and finish of their knives were in a category of itself I was somewhat skeptical. The knife is excellent and I can’t find any faults with it so I concluded that the rumors were accurate. The knife comes with a kydex sheath and as a personal preference I would have gone for a leather one given the option. The fit between knife and sheath is excellent and the blue handle is quite striking. The convex edge on this knife isn’t quite as aggressive as it’s on Fällkniven or Bark River knives, but the blade stock on those I have since before is thicker than on this TRC This is freedom. The grind is very even and the convex profile clearly visible if you’re looking for it. The profile is more similar to my Fällkniven NL4 rather than that of the Fällkniven F1 or Bark River Bravo 1. The only downside is the price but the quality is excellent.
