The **White River Knives FC3.5 Pro** is a cool survival knife, optimized to build fires in the wilderness. The use of material, the different finishes and the effective forms: everything serves a purpose. It is what White River Knives excels at.

 The White River FC3.5 Pro has a blade made from CPM S35VN steel. A stainless type of powder-coated steel that retains its sharpness well, can handle its own and is also reasonably easy to sharpen. Because of the high *sabre grind* there is blade thickness left on the spine of the blade. As such the blade is nice and solid and has a little more weight for chopping tasks.

 To protect your fingers and to make sure the knife won't fly from your hands White River enhanced the FC3.5 Pro with massive finger grooves. As such you 'lock' the handle in hand and never have to worry about knives flying around.

 The handle of the White River FC3.5 Pro is made from G10. A nice and stable material that is very strong. Because of its bright-orange colour you will easily retrieve it in the woods.

 The spine of the blade is relatively sharp to make sure you can scrape tinder or fatwood. Also practical when removing tree bark when building shelter. Just before the jimping you will find a small cut-out on the spine that is also very sharp at the edges. As such it is even easier to create massive sparks with a firesteel. This knife comes with a firesteel that is attached to the sheath in a loop.

 The White River Knives FC3.5 comes with a solid kydex sheath. It is enhanced with a kydex belt loop which you can hang from your belt horizontally. Because of the different mounting holes you are flexible when it comes to choosing a carrying method that suits you best. This knife comes in a luxurious wooden gift box.

Great quality knife, really sharp when it arrived, the sheef/holder is also great and the knife is firmly and securely held in it 

Super Messer! Es liegt toll in der Hand, wurde extrem scharf geliefert und das Orange G10 macht echt was her. Es ist allerdings auch der Grund für den halben Stern Abzug. Es hat nämlich so viel Grip das es sich in meinen Händen anfühlt wie 180er Schleifpapier. Auch wenn das natürlich nicht schlecht ist (und ich evtl. etwas empfindlich) ist es für mich doch leicht störend.
Ansonsten kann ich nur sagen das ich restlos zufrieden bin, die Verarbeitung ist perfekt und die Verpackung wie für White River Knives üblich der absolute Hammer. Auch ein Feuerstahl lässt sich problemlos mit dem Messer bedienen.
