The WOOX Thunderbird is a simple throwing axe with a lightweight head for precision and accuracy. The handle is made from American hickory from the Appalachians and is finished with a layer of water-repellent paint. The head is made from hardened carbon steel and is hammered into shape by hand in Italy. The axe head and handle are assembled in America. The WOOX Thunderbird meets all the requirements of the International Axe Throwing Federation (IATF).
