## Knife set specifically compiled for culinary school

This knife set was specifically compiled by Wüsthof for students who are starting culinary school. Previously this set was only supplied to schools, but now it is also exclusively available at Knivesandtools. Many students prefer their own knife set during classes. The knives that are supplied are namely used by everyone, and you never know how others handle them. During your career as a chef you also continue using the knives. They are namely of the utmost quality and in many professional kitchens you will run into Wüsthof knives.

The choice for these knives is simple really: these are the knives you will use most during your classes. Mostly the chef's knife and the paring knife. Both are from the Wüsthof classic collection. They are made from one piece of stainless steel, which is a prerequisite for many culinary schools.

The baker's and vegetable knife come from the Wüsthof Gourmet collection. The pomme parisienne drill and peeler come from the Wüsthof Silverpoint collection. All knives are enhanced with a protective cover and come in a knife bag. As such you can safely store and transport your knives. Great if you need to take them with you to school every day. Want to expand your knife collection? There is some room leftover in the bag! It namely fits 12 knives. Also great: the bag has additional compartments for, amongst others, pens and a notebook.

## Wüsthof knives: professional quality

The Wüsthof knives are favoured by many (amateur) chefs. And with good reason. Wüsthof is known for producing top-quality knives. The polypropylene handle is easy to clean, which is, of course, important for hygiene reasons. It also feels great in hand. Great when you use it on a daily basis. The blade is made from X50CrMoV15 steel and has a hardness of 58 HRC. You can easily sharpen the blade to make sure the knives are always razor-sharp.
