In this **black knife block from Wüsthof** your knives do not have an assigned spot. This means you can place your knives wherever you like. The block is filled with small plastic rods. You place the knives in between. The plastic is softer than the steel of the knivs to make sure the blade of the knives is not damaged.

## Which knives fit in this knife block?

This block has enough room for knives with a blade height of 14 cm. The maximum length of the knives is 25 cm. The block is 11 cm wide. Since it is a variable knife block, there is no fixed number of kitchen knives that will fit in it. It, for instance, has room for more paring knives than cleavers. Based on the dimensions of the block you can determine for yourself if all your knives fit inside. Do you want to purchase new knives to fill the block?
