The Wüsthof magnetic blade guard fully protects your knives during transport and storage. The blade guard also prevents damage from other objects lying in the kitchen drawer or in your bag. The blade protector sandwiches the knife between magnetic strips, ensuring that the knife cannot accidentally slip out of the blade guard. It is very easy to keep the plastic clean.

Ik heb ze zelf een aantal cadeau gedaan

De mesbeschermer is best OK; ik heb hem ook perfect op maat kunnen inkorten ( geknipt met industriele schaar) voor een van mijn handgemaakte voorsnijmessen met een, lemmet van 21cm.

Sturdy and effective.  Better than similar products we have tried.

De messenbeschermer ziet er mooi uit en doet zijn werk, het beschermen van het mes, goed. Ook het op maat maken gaat prima. Maar er zijn twee minpunten aan dit product:
- de magnetische binnenkant zit gelijmd op de kunststof buitenkant, maar dit hecht heel slecht, waardoor het telkens loslaat.
- ik had de messenbeschermer op tafel liggen. Toen de zon er op kwam te staan trok het geheel krom. Na afkoeling bleef hij krom. Met veel moeite heb ik hem weer wat vlakker gekregen.


Leider war das Messer doch größer, als die Hülle. Abgesehen davon verbreitet der Klingenschutz aber einen unerträglichen Chemo-Gestank (Weichmacher?), der sich auch auf das Messer überträgt. Gesundheitsfördernd kann das bestimmt nicht sein. Ich hatte die Hoffnung, dass sich der Gestank nach ein Paar Tagen verflüchtigt. Leider tut er das überhaupt nicht; auch nicht nach einer Woche auf der Heizung. Damit ist das Produkt für mich leider absolut unbrauchbar. Ich verstehe nicht, wie man so ein Produkt ernsthaft für den Einsatz im Lebensmittelbereich anbieten kann. Legt euch lieber einen anderen Klingenschutz zu!
