## Wüsthof Classic blade: razor-sharp stainless steel


The blade made from chromium-vanadium steel (X50CrMoV15) is forged from one solid piece of steel. It is sharpened according to Wüsthof’s PEtec technology. This means that for each blade a sharpening angle is determined with the help of a computer. Afterwards it is precisely sharpened on a wet sharpening stone. After thorough inspection each knife leaves the production line, ready for a life of intensive use.


Wüsthof processes the steel in a specific way to make sure it has a high hardness of 58 Rockwell. As such the knife retains its sharpness for a really long time. However, if you notice that the knife is not as sharp as it used to be, all you have to do is move it over a honing steel. The result is a razor-sharp knife that is amazing to use.


## Wüsthof Classic handle: sustainable and hygienic


This knife is a combination of a forged blade and an ergonomic handle made from black POM, a very sustainable type of plastic. The handle can withstand all substances you find in the kitchen. The handle was traditionally and seamlessly riveted to the blade with three rivets. As such dirt can never accumulate in between the blade and the handle. The crop protects your fingers from unnecessary contact with the edge. What more could you possibly ask for?


## Wüsthof Classic: the classic Wüsthof collection


The Classic is the most extensive Wüsthof collection on the market today. It is comprised of over 80 different kitchen knives, amongst which different sizes of chef’s knives, bread knives and carving knives. Because this collection has the most versions of all possible knives, you can easily comprise your own perfect knife set. A knife set with a knife block of chef’s case is, of course, also an option.


Both amateur and professional chef’s love working with these kitchen knives. They are enhanced with the NSF hygiene mark.

Heb het messenset gekocht voor de uitset. Dus of het voldoet durf ik nu nog niet te zeggen. Wel voelen de messen zeer solide aan, zeer netjes afgewerkt dus kwalitatief niets op aan te merken.

Ben er dan ook van overtuigd dat dit set heel lang mee zal gaan.

Wusthof is ontegenzeglijk zeer goede en degelijke kwaliteit.
Fantastisch in het gebruik. Een volledige set als deze is voor elke hobby- of meesterkok eigenlijk een must om te hebben, maar het komt aan een serieuze prijs.
Afwerking van de messen zelf is zeer goed, ook het messenblok is van een goede en zeer zware kwaliteit, absoluut geen klachten over de materialen.

Nadat ik de bestelling geplaatst had krijg je een netjes overzicht van de status en deze klopte uitstekend. Vlotte afhandeling.
Bezorging is vlot en zonder problemen verlopen, keurige en beleefde aflevering zonder schade of problemen.

Al-met-al dus een buitengewoon goede ervaring betreft service en kwaliteit, maar nogmaals; dit mag eigenlijk niet anders zijn want deze produkten zijn zeer aan de prijs.
