## The blade


Like with other Wüsthof collections the blade is made from X50CrMoV15 steel, which was sharpened according to the PEtec method, and polished by hand. This type of steel is also easy to sharpen.


Another advantage of this blade is the crop. It doesn’t extend all the way to the edge, but does separate the handle from the blade. As such you not only keep your fingers safe, you can also use the entire edge. Also great when you want to sharpen the knife.


## The handle


The handle is made from rock-solid POM. This is a shock, heat and acid proof material you can easily clean. Perfect for kitchen knives. The steel of the blade seamlessly merges with the handle. This is not only a rock-solid connection; it also provides great balance. Combined with the ergonomic shape this knife feels amazing in hand.

Excellent quality and design. Knives are very well sharpened. It's already my second set from Wusthof. I can only recommend. It was a great deal for that price.

Ik had het product besteld en ik had aangevinkt dat ik graag wou dat er contact met mij op werd genomen voor de betaling. Ik wou namelijk graag onder rembours laten verzenden maar hier bestond geen optie voor.
Toen kreeg ik een mail met erin dat ik het bedrag over moet maken, dat was een beetje raar.
Na een paar mailtjes kreeg ik een herrinering en daar stond gelukkig in dar ik het onder rembours kon doen, ik heb toen terug gemailt dat ik dat graag wiou maar niks ontvangen. 
De volgende dag geloof ik, was de postbode aan de deur geweest met een rembourd pakketje.
Het is dus allemaal nog wel goed gekomen en ik ben blij dat het nog zo snel is gegaan.

De volgende dag heb ik het pakketje opgehaald omdat ik zelf dus niet thuis was en alles was goed.
Wel moet ik zeggen dat ik het pas in september gebruik want dan heb ik mijn nieuwe huisje pas maar alles was goed ingepakt zover ik het kon zien etc etc.

Alsnog beankt voor alles.
Ik kon het geld goed gebruiken en ben dan ook blij dat ik ipv 517 euro, 449 euro betaalde voor het messenblok.
