The **Case Sod Buster Jr.** is a traditional pocket knife according to the Sod Buster pattern. A simple pocket knife, designed for the average farmer as a workers knife. You open it with two hands and a slipjoint firmly keeps the blade in place when opened. It doesn’t get any simpler than that.


## Case Tru-Sharp SS-steel


The blade is made from Case Tru-Sharp SS. A stainless type of steel that is basically the same as 420HC steel. Characterizing about this type of steel is that you can quickly sharpen it and end up with a razor-sharp knife.


## Amber Jigged Bone handle


The handle is made from *Amber Jigged Bone* which is, in fact, cow bone enhanced with an interesting texture. Subsequently it has been given a beautiful colour and a nice polish. This classic material radiates class and elegance. As a result it completely matches the rest of the Case knives. In this case a *Peach Seed* texture was chosen.

Joli couteau, assez plat et léger pour ne pas gêner en poche. La finition est plutôt bonne pour le prix, le manche magnifique. J'ai seulement dû reprendre la lame sur un cuir quelques minutes, car l'affûtage est assez grossier en sortie de boîte avec un reste de morfil.
Il n'y a pas de half-stop lors de l'ouverture ou de la fermeture. Le ressort n'est pas dur, mais il a de  la friction pour empêcher la lame de se refermer facilement.

Bit expensive for what it is, good little knife though for understated legal EDC.

Good little knife, fits nicely in the pocket. Not too heavy and very sharp. Excellent quality.

Naast de messen van Buck lijkt de vorm wel een sjabloon van veel moderne messen. Tussen beide handgreep gedeelten zit laagjes messing dat het steviger maakt. De pivot slijt dus niet mee met de handgreep. De jigged bone is hierbij nog gedetaileerder qua stuctuur. Net als de Copperlock is deze ook slank en klein qua vorm. Wat makkelijk in de broekzak past.
